Porsche GT3RS CXX Full XPEL PPF

We’ve become quite the experts in protecting the 992 GT3RS at Assetti with a number of these completed since release. None quite as special as the recent project that received full XPEL paint protection film and Gyeon ceramic coating package to ensure this one of kind 992 is protected for the road.

This particular car is a one of one, CXX car finished in paint to sample, Palladium Metallic.

CXX in Porsche refers to the “Custom-Code Execution” option offered by the brand. This unique feature allows Porsche owners to enhance their vehicle’s functionality with personalized modifications, surpassing the standard options. From aesthetic tweaks to performance enhancements, CXX provides the freedom to customize the vehicle to the owner’s exact specifications. It’s not just about personalizing a car; it’s about crafting a distinctive driving experience that truly reflects the owner’s style, preferences, and driving demands.

If there was ever a Porsche to protect with PPF, it’s certainty this example.

Whilst to the non Porsche enthusiast eye this looks similar to most 992 GT3RS, it has many subtle differences thanks to the CXX program setting it apart from most on the road. The paint to sample (PTS) paint is a unique offering from Porsche’s extensive range of custom colours. Hence the need for XPEL PPF to save this expensive option from stone chips, scratches and other damage.

The 992 GT3RS is usually equipped with unpainted plastic wing end caps and lower front bumper, however on this example they are finished in high gloss black & needed custom PPF from Assetti along with the full car coverage to ensure every inch was protected.

With usual full car PPF taking around 4-5 days, we spend a lot of time with each vehicle in our care which is great for a car like this when you notice the small custom details and appreciate the thought and effort that’s gone into the specification by the owner.

The carbon fibre elements thanks to the Weissach package are also another area that requires protection. Carbon fibre is notoriously difficult to repair and can often fade in the sun however thanks to XPEL ultimate plus PPF this offers a physical barrier against damage from both debris and harmful UV rays.

With full car PPF protection complete, the vehicle was further enhanced with ceramic coating using the Gyeon range. This offers an additional layer on top of the PPF whilst making the surface hydrophobic which means a cleaner looking car for longer. As well as this it makes cleaning the car easy as dirt and debris are repelled by the 5 year Gyeon Infinite ceramic coating.

Now ready to be enjoyed by the owner, safe in the mind that the paint will remain in factory condition no matter the mileage or usage. Another stunning Porsche protected by Assetti with XPEL PPF.
