Defender 110 Fully Stealthed Out

The first step for this Defender owner when picking their car up from the dealer was to head straight to us at Assetti to stand out from the crowd. With many options for upgrades, the customer opted to build a Defender that looks a little different to the sea of black cars already on the roads. How do you create a bespoke look for your Defender?

Paint protection film is one way to completely stand out from the crowd. XPEL Stealth is a satin PPF designed to not only protect your paint but also change the finish from gloss to satin. It has all the self healing and protection benefits of the gloss film but the added bonus of a visual change. The owner opted to have satin stealth PPF for the main body sections of the car and left some sections gloss to accent the features of the vehicle.

With the car fully transformed with Stealth PPF, the next step was to add some exterior upgrades. We have a popular recipe for Defenders which includes lighting accessories such as the LED roof light and LED grill. These not only look great but help to light the road ahead on dark nights and tricky country lanes. Finished in high gloss black, they compliment the existing trim level of this defender beautifully.

To further the aggressive look of this Defender with it’s upgrades and PPF, the next upgrade was our popular wide arch extensions again, finished in high gloss black. These are much larger than the factory fitted arches and help give a chunkier look for the Defender. They also help when upgrading wheel and tyre options.

The final finishing touches, most notably to rear of the vehicle included a gloss black rear spoiler, which helps finish of the flat boot of the Defender nicely. Paired with our wide style Union Jack mud flaps, which are a great nod to the classic Defender of the past. These also help to protect the vehicle for mud, stones and other debris and are a practical addition for any Defender owner.
