Land Rover Defender 110 goes Stealth

We are often building custom Defenders for our customers at both ends of the spectrum from just a few parts through to combining upgrades and protection with aftermarket parts and also paint protection film.

Cue this Defender 110 which arrived to us brand new from the showroom and after seeing our previous Stealth PPF vehicles, the customer decided that was the look they wanted to go for, both for the aesthetic and protection benefits. It didn’t stop there though, once fully stealthed out we used our wide range of aftermarket parts to make this Defender stand out from the crowd.

Using our precision templates from XPEL, who provide the factory satin PPF option for Land Rover, we are able to replicate this look after production and even alter our patterns to extend the coverage or customise the look. The peace of mind with having PPF installed by someone like Assetti is you know the paint condition underneath is perfect and you have a direct contact for any issues or replacement panels due to damage. When having PPF done pre delivery, you may run into various issues with the quality and have to jump through many hoops at the dealer to have replacement panels completed.

With its fresh coat of satin PPF armour, it was over to our workshop team for the upgrades to begin.

The standard 20″ wheels weren’t what this customer had in mind so these were changed for some stunning gloss black 22″ Riviera wheels, available in many styles. Paired with an All-Terrain tyre from Yokohama giving a fantastic balance of grip, road noise and also aesthetic being a slightly chunky tyre.

The result is a more aggressive wheel and tyre on the vehicle, which was a great start to this custom Defender.

Two of our most popular upgrades come from our lighting range. The 4 LED roof light pod gives an aggressive and premium look to the vehicle whilst being functional also, lighting the road ahead in any conditions.

When paired with our daytime running light LED grill, the front of the Defender is brighter than ever and we see these fitted to most Defenders that roll through the Assetti doors, for good reason!

With the gloss and satin black theme of this Defender 110, it was only fitting to include a gloss black side ladder alongside a gloss black side gear carried for to compliment the aggressive look. These bolt on seamlessly and really finish off any Defender, again offering a practical and styling upgrade.

Practicality was important for this customer, who also opted for our side steps to be fitted, of course in black. These make vehicle entry and exit that little easier in all conditions thanks to the high density rubber step. They also offer additional protection against damage to the doors.

The finished result is a fully bespoke, stealth Defender ready to take on the road ahead!
