Lamborghini Urus Armoured with PPF

The Lamborghini Urus was the luxury brands first foray into the SUV market, which quite frankly was very successful. Opening the floodgates for brands like Ferrari to introduce their own super SUV. The Urus embodies classic Lamborghini design paired with all the functionality required for a family SUV.

This stunning example finished in black arrived to Assetti with one goal in mind, protection. Which meant XPEL ultimate plus paint protection to protect this expensive vehicle from stone chips, scratches and other damage from the road.

As with all vehicles arriving at Assetti, this Urus had a full decontamination wash to ensure any surface contaminants are removed prior to film installation. This thorough process helps us to asses the vehicles current condition as well as get the paint as clean as possible before it’s protected with XPEL ultimate plus, a gloss PPF film which is invisible once installed.

Using our precision template library from XPEL, we cut all the patterns for every vehicle in house which means we can ensure maximum coverage despite the trim level or extra options. Paint protection film was installed to the main painted body panels along with any gloss black trim. This ensures all the important areas are protected against stone chips going forward.

Whilst the primary purpose of PPF is to become a sacrificial barrier between your paint on the road, the other benefit is the films self-healing top coat. A micro layer on top of the film that resists micro scratches and swirls and will self heal in the sun naturally. The result, especially on a black car is a mirror like finish for years to come with no need for polishing or expert washing techniques.

The complex design of the Lamborghini Urus is no match for our installation team who are well versed in all makes and models of supercars.
